Even though no fault divorce looks to be a near arrival in New York State (finally) will not make prenuptial agreements obsolete. Prenups can dictate what happens to finances, property, pets and other issues that may be of concern to the engaged couple – as determined by the couple, rather than the Court or attorneys.
