If the kids weren’t a good reason not to get a divorce…the money thing certainly would be. Sometimes I would like to have a little “less” power…and share more of the responsibility…lol, but then the alternative would be unbearable. Thanks!

Great reminder to hold our power as women. Thanks for the reminder.

Thankfully I’ve never been more than a few hundred dollars in debt but it wasn’t for lack of effort on part of my ex! I’d advise any woman to keep control of her own finances and not let anyone else take control, no matter how much they strut around demanding it.

So many women turn their financial “power” over to the man in the relationship even prior to divorce and then in the case of a divorce are left lost. I encourage all women to take your advice whether single, happily married or facing a divorce. Good stuff!

Sabra, there’s a lot of great advice in this interview for women in general, whether they are going through divorce or not. Knowing where we stand financially, where all of our accounts are, etc. Thanks!
